Hello friends! This post was long overdue. I mentioned before that I was going through some major changes. I took some time off of social media so I can get organized and now that I’m, I can finally come back. I took a job opportunity that presented and I have been slowly reducing my health coaching practice so I can dedicate to my new job and keep up posting on my blog and social media. Something had to give and I decided it was my one-on-one health coaching practice. I will not be taking any new clients for now. I enjoy blogging and social media too much and love sharing this space with all of you so I will keep doing it.
Those of you that have read a little of my story (you can read it here) know that I used to be in the corporate world and that I used to pay little attention to my wellbeing. After many health issues, I studied nutrition to become a health coach and left the corporate world. The past couple of months since I started working outside of the health industry again, I realized how much easier it was to take care of my health when I was fully dedicated to everything health related. I feel like right now I have even more to share with all of you and that by me not being fully immersed in the health industry, my advise and tips will be even more real and practical for those that are trying to have a balanced life and pay attention to their well being while having many different roles they have to fulfill.
Some may ask (as my clients have already done), why would I want to go back to a job that has nothing to do with the health industry that I’m so passionate about? The answer is easy. It’s a job that has sentimental value, as my late father was one of the founders of the company that I now work for. It was an easy decision for me to make when the opportunity presented itself. But I’m not giving up my healthy lifestyle and the amazing community that we share. It is much more of a challenge now to keep up with healthy habits, time for self-care, healthy eating and all, but it only makes it more real and hopefully more relatable to most people. I hope to show you that a healthy lifestyle is always possible and really worth the extra effort.
From now on, you will get to see a crazy balancing act that includes healthier choices for the whole family, self care practices to stay sane, tips and tricks to be practical, and many real life efforts to stay full of energy with a clear and relaxed mind, to achieve and stay at an ideal weight, to have a strong body, healthy skin, hair and nails, and a positive mindset. Let’s do this together! Ask me anything in the comments section or let’s connect through Instagram or Facebook.
P.S. I explain why I chose this picture to illustrate this post in my IG and FB account. I know it seems unrelated, but it isn’t to me.
xoxo
